Locking, 42″ wide lateral file offers secure file storage in its two fixed front drawers. Each drawer includes two adjustable hangrails for side-to-side filing of letter-size or legal-size folders. Three-part, telescoping, steel ball-bearing suspension delivers smooth opening and closing. Mechanical interlock allows only one drawer to open at a time. Design also features contemporary, full-face, integral drawer pulls; a core-removable lock; and 19-1/4″ case depth. Reinforced case construction with flush top and sides has a baked enamel finish over rust-inhibiting phosphate pre-treatment. Black lateral file is certified by SCS to be in compliance with specific, indoor, air-quality emission requirements and meets or exceeds applicable ANSI/BIFMA standards.
